Alan Wake
Article by Bindi Lavelle

Next month will see the arrival of the much anticipated game Alan Wake, so lets take a look at what the game promises and why it is hype worthy.
Developed by Remedy Entertainment (Max Payne), Alan Wake is a psycological action thriller in the vein of Twin Peaks; the game will play like a television show, with an episodic structure building to a season finale climax for the game.
However, the player will not simply make their way through plot points, there will be room for the player to roam, though not completely sand-box like the Grand Thieft Auto franchise.
And of coursem there is the important element of plot, a game like this is quite dependent on the storyline. The player will play as Alan Wake, a writer who finds himself trapped inside his latest work, which Alan has no memory of writing.
A live action prequel will be released later this week to introduce players to the town of Bright Falls and set up the events of the game.
So far the development and the teasers for this game have been nothing short of delightfully intriging, Remedy Entertainment has already proven itself as inovators, with Max Payne so there is little else to to but to wait and see how Alan Wake fairs.
