Bite Me! (2004)

Review by Jeff Hudson

Directed by: Brett Piper

Starring:
Misty Mundae/Crystal
Julian Wells/Teresa
Rob Monkiewicz/Buzz
Michael R. Thomas/Ralph

Plot:
When a hybrid strain of bio-engineered marijuana is delivered to a secluded strip club, it brings with it a monstrous army of insect creatures and a renegade U.S. federal agent with a big chip on his shoulder. Soon the stealthy, fist-sized bugs are busily engorging themselves on human blood, their bite effecting a particularly potent narcotic reaction in those attacked.

Acting:
The acting in this movie was very cheesy in a good manor, Misty Mundae(Crystal) was the star of the flick as she gave us the smarter of the strippers in the movie and had some pretty funny moments in the flick. Rob Monkiewicz(Buzz) was also pretty funny and thought Crystal and Buzz worked great when together.

Gore:
We get some funny ass looking spiders filled with blood and other than that the gore was lacking in a big way, we just get some gun shots and some nasty spider bites.

T & A:
This is where the movie shines and more than likely why you would rent or buy this. We get 4 pairs of breasts here.

Directing:
Brett does a nice job making this a campy low budget flick you would catch late night on Cinamax, the setting and feel of the movie is kind of cheap looking but I didn’t mind.

Soundtrack:
We get a pretty goofy score that fit’s the film just well. One thing that I thought was missing though was some good rock music for the strip club, but oh well.

Final thoughts:
Bite Me! Was a pretty fun movie for the most part, we get a lot of naked ladies, some funny moments that fit in well for the campy flick that it was. There was just some moments that made the movie drag at times and could have used some more gore. With that being said if you’re a fan of fun campy B movies you will more than likely dig this one. I give it a 5/10.
