Plot:
This sadistic film depicts a series of satanic rituals conducted in an ancient castle s underground vaults. These rites allow for lurid depictions or whippings, burnings and torture. All of which culminates in the slaughtering of seven naked virgins and a demonic orgy.
Acting:
The acting in the movie was real bad, and not just because of the horrible dubbing, Mickey Hargitay(Jack) was ok at best, but like him and the rest of the cast it was real hard to even tell who was who, with all the cut backs and lack of telling peoples names most of the cast looked the same.
Gore:
I was a little disappointed here, with some bad acting and lack of plot I was at least hoping to see some good gore and didn’t get that, we do get some off screen stuff, a ripped out heart, a steak to the heart, a knife to the chest and some biting.
T & A:
There was tons of that here, we get I believe 8 pairs of boobs, lost count at some point.
Directing:
Renato did a ok job making this feel very gothic and med evil like but I felt like in other areas like his camera shots and editing was very bad.
Soundtrack:
At times the score was real well done and fitting but at other times it was very bad like during a couple of the rape scenes it busts out into some Benny Hill sounding music that was just wrong.
Final thoughts:
Black Magic Rites sounded pretty interesting from the case, and I still feel could have been a good movie but the way this movie was put together seemed all over the place and very confusing as to what the hell was even going on. I would say this movie isn’t for everyone, but I would say to give this one a watch before you buy it. I give it a 4/10.
