The Blair Witch Project
Review by Jeff

Directed by: Daniel Myrick & Eduardo Sanchez

Starring:
Heather Donahue
Joshua Leonard
Michael C. Williams

Plot:
Three film students travel to Maryland to make a student film about a local urban legend... The Blair Witch. The three went into the woods on a two day hike to find the Blair Witch, and never came back. One year later, the students film and video was found in the woods. The footage was compiled and made into a movie. The Blair Witch Project.

Acting:
The acting in this film was top notch, Heather Donahue(Heather)was great as the serious film student who acts like the leader of the group, Joshua Leonard(Joshua) was the middle man most of the time trying to everyone to keep there cool, and Michael C. Williams(Michael) I thought was the star of the film he was funny and had great facial reactions.

Gore:
This film wasn’t about the gore it was about the scares, we get very little blood here.

T & A:
The ladies get to see Michaels hairy chest, other than that nothing.

Directing:
Daniel and Eduardo did a awesome job making this film seem so real, it was great that they used real cheap shitty cameras like a film student would probably have. There was some real good scare scenes that got me the first time I seen the film.

Soundtrack:
There was no score to this film, it is supposed to be a student film project found in the woods so there wouldn’t be any score.

Final thoughts:
The Blair Witch Project is a amazing film that was something fresh and totally different than anything that had came out at the time. It had a great small cast, and the interviews with the towns people were great, the two guys fishing were hilarious. I give this film a 10/10.
