Plot:
To exist in daylight, Countess Elizabeth Bathory the infamous Blood Countess and widow of legendary vampire Count Dracula makes a blood pact with an Egyptian goddess involving three lovely victims and a living Mummy. A centuries-old craving collides with an ancient curse in this horrific climax to Frontline Entertainment's Countess Dracula and Mummy's Kiss movie series!
Acting:
The acting in this film was very cheesy in a good way, Del Howsison(Renfield) was real funny and had some great lines he added to this flick a lot, Monique Parent(Elizabeth Bathory) did a real good job playing the evil vampire lead role.
Gore:
This flick was pretty light on the gore but it was fitting enough for a vampire movie, we get a vampire turned to dust, some biting, and a heart cut out.
T & A:
Wow this movie was loaded, we get 11 pairs of boobs and 2 beaver shots, sorry ladies nothing for you.
Directing:
Donald did a nice job making this flick campy and nothing to take seriously just to have fun and enjoy, the lighting was good and the set pieces looked great.
Soundtrack:
We get a pretty good score nothing terrific but solid and some rock music here and there.
Final thoughts:
Blood Scarab is one of those low budget flicks that a lot of people would find stupid but I thought it was great, a lot of the humor worked real well and the Renfield character was funny as shit. If you enjoy lots of naked women, bad cheesy acting, and vampire movies you will love this, so go out and get it now! I give it a 7/10.
