Bonnie & Clyde VS Dracula (2008)
Review by Mari Lynne Rupp

Outlaws Bonnie and Clyde have escaped with barely their lives in their last bank job. They are out of money, and out of hideouts, so they're forced to hide out with moonshiner Jake.
Jake and his friend help them out with one last heist, which goes horribly wrong, and forces Bonnie to seek the help of Dr. Loveless.
But when they find who's hiding out with Dr. Loveless, it all goes VERY wrong!
Firstly, kudos to Big Atom productions for doing a period piece on a shoestring budget, and getting away with it...Everything from the cars (HOW?? How did you do it??) to the soundtrack was as authentic as possible.
If that wasn't impressive enough, the dialogue and acting are top-notch. If you aren't a Tiffany Shepis fan yet, this movie will make you a true believer.
Now...Dracula has been paired up with The Mummy, Sherlock Holmes, Billy the Kid and even Buffy the Vampire Slayer, so Timothy Friend knew that a certain amount of cheese and suspended disbelief was necessary for this idea to work...Somehow, he pulled it off, making it look effortless. Also, one word about Russell Friend's Dracula....SWEET!! Gerry Butler himself would be jealous. Mr. Friend if this is the only film you act in, the horror genre would lose quite a great character actor.
Another film as proof....You don't need a great budget to have a great horror film. I give this 8/10, and highly recommend this to any vampire enthusiast who is sick to the canine teeth of "sparkly" vampires.
