I've said it before and I'll say it again--it's incredibly difficult to bring something new to the industrial table these days. Not that people aren't doing it, but because industrial fans tend to hold on a lot more to the songs that previously grabbed them, it's even harder to stake a unique name for oneself outside of sub-genre stereotyping. CeDigest's "Walking In The Flesh" is definitely a breath of fresh air, and with the way it brings heavy metal guitars, a mix of gabber and harsh-EBM vocals and off-kilter melodies, it does what it does very well. Add the assistance of powernoize artist Jamie of Electronic Substance Abuse, and it all falls together to create an album that will have a home in the clubs and for personal listening as well. Definitely recommended for those who put their Skinny Puppy right next to their metal collection.
