Story by Edwin Ong

Man. What can I say? I just read the last page, and I'm still shaking my head. Edwin Ong mixes vampire mythology with military tactics and know-how for a wild ride through his world of wizards, zombies and vampires.

The prologue grabs you by the groin, leaving you with the image of a horrified boy running from a vampire attack, his brother and sister-in-law prodding him to run while their very bodies are rent apart.

The first chapter slams right into a mighty battle between zombies and vampires masterminded by a great wizard bent on revenge, and what happens when the military responds to the volatile situation.

From then on, dear reader, you are on your own in this wild wonderland-like ride through earth and hell, and just when you think you know what's happening, a plot twist throws you down another rabbit hole.

I would recommend this self-published book to anyone sick and tired of reading about sparkly vampires. It puts them back in the bad-guy chair where they belong, without losing any of thier appeal. 9/10
