The corrupt Emperor Tiberius forces his bravest general, Marcus, to subdue the monstrous Cyclops that has been decimating the countryside. Once the Cyclops is brought to the dungeons, Marcus is forced to fight in the gladiatorial games. Eventually, he and the Cyclops become allies and they fight together to defeat the corrupt Emperor and his evil nephew, along with the beautiful barbarian Barbara.

Well what is there to say about this movie except I absoloutly did not love it. Yes it had Roger Corman attached to it, but it started off like a bad version of Xena or Hurcules. Don't get me wrong, let me state before I incur the wrath of Xena fans everywhere, I liked those shows, for the most part. THis was an altogether different direction, but for all the bad this feature brings to the table it almost, almost, redeems itself with the period sets and costumes.

The acting here seemed to vary from scene to scene, but mostly in varying degrees of rigidity, butchery of dialog by mixing modern scripting with Roman terms but let's not forget the Roman with the Austrailian accent.

One thing we get is some ok effects, with alot of disappointing CG effects. A lacking cyclopse, weak kills, more CG and some decent action choreography. My final piece on this is if you catch it on TV, great, especially if it's Sun and nothing is on. But not a keeper unless you a diehard bad cyclops fan. 3/10
