Dead & Breakfast (2004)
Review by Jeff Hudson

Directed by: Matthew Leutwyler

Starring:
Jeremy Sisto /Christian
Erik Palladino /David
Gina Philips /Melody
Ever Carradine /Sara

Plot:
Six friends on a road trip stop for the night at a Bed and Breakfast in the sleepy town of Lovelock. After a night that leaves both the Inn's owner and chef dead, the gang finds themselves under suspicion by the local Sheriff. But that's only the beginning as nearly all of the town's quirky residents become possessed by an evil spirit and pin down the friends inside the B&B.

Acting:
The acting in this film was great, Erik Palladino(David) was funny as hell playing a hard ass drunk guy, Gina Philips(Melody) was good in role as the caring vegan, the rest of the cast was great too, they just seemed to all blend well together, and made for a funny horror/comedy flick.

Gore:
Holy shit it’s splatter city here, we get a knife to the throat, stab to the chest, a hammer to the head, gunshots, a drumstick to the eye, a drum symbol to the head, antlers to the stomach, a axe to the neck, a chainsaw to the neck, knife to the chest, a head cut off, and tons more.

T & A:
Nothing here sad to say.

Directing:
Matthew did a great with some cool unique camera shots, and the flow of the film was great and original.

Soundtrack:
We get a blend of rockabilly, country, rock, and metal music, and the score was well done also.

Final thoughts:
I thought this film was great it had awesome gore, great acting, and was just a fun original movie to watch, they blended the music great that went throughout the film. This film came out in 2004 but sad to say wasn’t released until after the success of Shaun Of The Dead. I give this film a 9/10.
