Dead Body Man (2004)
Review by Jeff Hudson

Directed by: Ryan Cavalline

Starring:
Eddie Benevich/Willie
Desiree/God
Peter Blessel/Ed

Plot:
Willie seems normal to most people, but he works to hide a terrible secret. Beneath the average-Joe facade, Willie believes himself to be God's messenger, sent to earth to punish wrongdoers by brutally murdering and sometimes eating them. Taking out his twisted fury on anyone he deems unholy (mainly prostitutes), Willie gets his kicks by torturing his victims with power drills and the like. Thankfully, in time, Willie is driven mad enough by his own wicked ways that he decides to go after a much more deserving victim--himself.

Acting:
The acting was pretty bad to say the least, Eddie Benevich(Willie) was overacting a lot of the time and his attempts at being comedic failed big time. Willie was really the only main character in this flick other than a porn star that was portraying God.

Gore:
The gore in this film was good we get lots of red stuff everywhere. As for the goods we get a hammer to the head, carving off flesh, cutting off body parts, gunshots, some chainsaw action, a cut out tongue, and a drill to the head.

T & A:
We get one pair of breasts and a bush shot thanks to God herself.

Directing:
Ryan wont be winning any awards with his work here, we get some typical no-budget camera work, most of everything was done in his house during the day, it just felt real dull. We also cant leave out the badass digital effects wow.

Soundtrack:
The score was real hokey and comedic most of the time, so if that doesn’t tell you not to take this movie seriously I don’t know what will.

Final thoughts:
Dead Body Man was one of the many crap-tastic movies in my Brentwood 50 pack I picked up, so I really wasn’t going into this movie expecting anything great but I at least thought it couldn't be so bad it wasn't worth watching but I was wrong. Dead Body Man stunk to high hell and didn’t offer anything new or funny unless you want to see a old washed up porn star playing God, I think I would pass on that. I say stay far any from this flick. I give it a 2/10.
