Dexter Season 2 (2008)
Review by Bindi Lavelle

Just Like visiting an old friend, season two of the lovable serial killer is a tasty treat for fans of the first season.
Season tow picks up pretty much where the first one left off; Dexter has defeated, (as it were) the ice-truck killer and is trying to resume life as usual. However when the remains of Dexter's victims are discovered Dexter is forced into damage control mode.
The show builds tension by throwing more and more complications in the protagonist's path. In the course of the season Dexter, fakes a drug addiction, goes to Paris, has an affair and takes up bowling (but not in that order) all in an attempt to not get caught.
This season concentrates more on Dexter's social skills, (or rather lack there of) as Dexter depends on every weapon in his arsenal to protect himself. The audience is given more insight into Dexter the man as he struggles to keep the ravenous wolves from his door.
Season two, expands from the first, providing an original story that develops Dexter, rather than a carbon-copy of the previous season. Satisfy for fans of the serial killer next door.8.5/10.
