Don’t Go In The Woods Alone! (1981)
Review by Jeff Hudson

Directed by: James Bryan

Starring:
DJack McClelland/Peter
Mary Gail Artz/Ingrid
James P. Hayden/Craig
Angie Brown/Joanie

Plot:
Four young campers, Craig, Peter, Ingrid and Joanie, back-pack through the mountains for a relaxing weekend in the wilderness. They are out camping in broad daylight, while someone else is killing tourists in the woods.

Acting:
The acting in this film is pretty bad, you never get to know anything about the 4 main characters so I didn’t really care what happened to anyone in this film, I know it‘s a slasher movie and the actors don’t really matter but I would still like something out of them.

Gore:
There was some sweet gore in this flick, we get a arm cut off, lots of stabbing, a head cut off, and lots more, that was the strong part to this flick.

T & A:
This is a 80’s slasher flick and we don’t get one thing.

Directing:
Not a lot to say here, just a low budget film shot in the woods, so you get your typical shots Friday The 13th style witch is fine for me.

Soundtrack:
There was no score or music at all in this movie.

Final thoughts:
I thought this was a ok slasher film with some real cool death scenes, but I thought the character’s were to boring and the movie just kind of dragged on to me, they could have done a bit better and this would be a classic film. If you’re a slasher movie fan then this is a must buy. I give this film a 6/10.
