Dr. Chopper (2005)
Review by Bindi Lavelle

Dr. Crapper is more like it. Great looking cover with a premise so simple it had to work, and yet it didn’t.
The plot is simple, some young folk go to an isolated cabin for the weekend, where they are chased by Dr. Chopper (named after the motorbike not for hacking teenagers) and his violently helpful nurses.
The film’s major flaw is that it tries so hard to develop Dr. Chopper; his back-story and motivation are expanded upon in such a way that the character is about as sinister as Elmer Fudd.
Despite the gore, when the film’s villain closely resembles a mad scientist from a Saturday morning cartoon, it’s hard to take the film as seriously as it takes itself.
There’s nothing outstanding about this film, in short watch this as a last resort from boredom. 3/10.
