Epitaph (2007)
Review by Jeff Hudson

Directed by: The Jung Brothers

Starring:
It was all in Korean so I couldn’t tell you.

Plot:
Browsing an old photo book in 1979, Park Jeong-Nam travels back with his memories to 1942, when Korea was occupied by Japan, when he was a young and immature intern doctor in Anseong Hospital. During those four days, strange events will happen, when corpses brought to the mortuary aren't able to rest in piece.

Acting:
The acting was pretty good, Park Jeong-Nam did a ok job with his role as the young Doctor and like usual we get a creepy ass Asian girl, not impressed to tell you the truth.

Gore:
There wasn’t a lot of the red stuff shown here but we do get lots of surgery stuff, a car wreck, and some stabbing.

T & A:
Nope none of that stuff here.

Directing:
If the Jung Brothers were trying to make this confusing and fucked up then they did a good job, in all seriousness the film looked great and we get some great lighting.

Soundtrack:
The score was ok and fit the film well.

Final thoughts:
I would like to start off by saying I am burned out and don’t really care to watch more Asian ghost movies, they have been done to death and there is nothing new to see from them. Even though it looked real good it was just boring and not to mention I had a screener copy with big huge letters saying SAMPLE and numbers going across the screen thanks Danger After Dark. So I would say if you cant get enough of Asian ghosts and need more go out and check this out, or if your like me skip it. I give it a 2/10.
