Ghoulies is a movie about ghouls, you know little slimy critters who go out of their way to violently fuck your shit up.
The above description pretty much gives you all the information you will need to watch any of the Ghoulies franchise.
A college student moves into the house he inherited from his log deceased parents, filled with occult books and paraphernalia. Naturally he begins to study up, this leads to him summoning up some Ghoulies.
Once the Ghoulies arrive on the scene, they pretty much just goof around and make a mess. While college boy keeps summoning bigger and bigger things. The practical effects are nice, you can't help but smile watching people run away from a puppet, outside of a Jim Hensen film. While these puppets aren't the most elaborate, they are still nicely designed.
If you like cheap scares, cheap laughs and some slime, get a hold of Ghoulies.
