Haunting Desires (2004)
Review by Jeff Hudson

Directed by: Fred Olen Ray
Starring:
Beverly Lynne/Jill
Jay Richardson/Detective Trout
Evan Stone/Adrian
Plot:
A young driver is found dead in his car with telltale puncture wounds on his neck, and a shrewd reporter Jill Conner believes the death was the result of foul play. Jill's research into the murder leads her to a private club that specializes in fulfilling sexual desires. Though tempted to take advantage of this juicy opportunity, Jill has to make sure she doesn't end up as another victim of a dangerous underworld.
Acting:
The acting in this film was both good and bad, Beverly Lynne(Jill) was good but I thought this was a bad role for her, Jay Richardson(Detective Trout) was awesome, his role was very easy to like and added some good humor to the flick, Evan Stone(Adrian) was horrible as the lead vampire and was just a joke to see act.
Gore:
There wasn’t really any gore or blood at all here, what we do get is some biting and that’s about it.
T & A:
Lots of that stuff here since it takes place mostly in a strip bar, we get 5 pairs of boobs.
Directing:
Fred did a ok job with how the flick looked, but you could tell it was a strait to DVD type of movie, and the cgi was awful.
Soundtrack:
We get some pretty cool rock music and the score was really good.
Final thoughts:
Haunting Desires is one of those movies you would catch late at night on Cinemax, it focuses more on the boobs and sex other than blood and gore. The acting was ok, the plot and effects were a joke, so I would say if you see this on late at night to skip it and find something else to watch. I give it a 3/10.
