I Sell the Dead (2008)
Review by David Rupp

18th century justice catches up with a pair of grave robbers. With only a few hours to go before his date with the guillotine, Arthur Blake (Monaghan) tells his life story to Father Francis Duffy (Ron Perlman). Before long, Arthur spills the beans on how he got started in the grim corpse peddling business with seasoned ghoul Willie Grimes (Fessenden).
Written & Directed by: Glenn McQuaid
Starring: Dominic Monaghan, Ron Perlman, Larry Fessenden, Angus Scrimm & John Speredakos.
From the beginning this movie sets out to capture both your attention and imaginathion, and hits dead on with both attempts. Taking a strong script, placing in well developed characters, excellent pacing and topping it off with brilliant dialog.
Following the adventures of the two main characters, you are treated to some amazing performances, back stories that are actually relevant, laughs and conspiracies. I very much enjoyed this film from start to finish and highly reccomend it to anyone. Every once in a while something comes along and refreshes the genre, and makes you excited again....I Sell the Dead is one of those somethings.10/10
