Mayhem Motel (2001)
Review by Jeff Hudson

Directed by: Karl Kempter
Starring:
Lorene Scafaria/Abby
Holly Perkins/Jane
Ray Jarrell/Hank
Mike Ciulla/Priest
Plot:
What can happen in the course of one night in an average motel? TOO MUCH! Vomiting, spanking, shooting, stabbing and smothering Anything and everything goes at MAYHEM MOTEL. The strangest cast of characters ever assembled gets together for a night you will not soon forget.
Acting:
The acting in this movie was overly bad it was just down rite horrible. There is so many people we don’t get names too or don’t really get to know any of them, I just know the dialogue between a lot of people are very annoying.
Gore:
We get a little gore here and there like a guy throwing up blood, some stabbing, a gunshot, a guy stabbed, and some more off screen stuff that is weak.
T & A:
Well we get a dude’s butt shot and that’s about it.
Directing:
Karl did a awesomely bad job with the look of this movie, I wasn’t really sure if he was trying to make this look gritty and bad or if it was just the budget. At times the flick looks ok but then it looks like a 70’s grind house type flick.
Soundtrack:
We get some techno type music, but the worst part was the audio was mixed real bad and during dialogue scenes it cuts in and out a lot.
Final thoughts:
Mayhem Motel was something else, I did not understand the point of this movie, it was all over the place and didn’t really have a plot other than random stupid stuff going on in the same Motel, but even that was messed up because some of the rooms you could tell it was in a house. This was a headache to watch, I would just say stay away from this movie. I give it a 1/10.
