Mega Piranha (2010)

Review by David Rupp

A mutant strain of giant ferocious piranha escape from the Amazon and eat their way toward Florida.
Written by Eric Forsberg Directed by Eric Forsberg
Starring: Paul Logan, Tiffany and Barry Williams
Wow, what a horrible movie to find in a time capsule 2,000 years from now, our future generations would think us both idiots and technically incompetent. That being said, it should conjure up images of how utterly bad this movie is.
The acting is bad but not the focus on this turd torpedo speeding to DVD rentals near you, think of it more as the aromatic fumes that announce it was here. What is really horrible are the CG effects that absoloutly do not sync with the film. You will see giant piranha that are leaping out of the water the size of cars one moment, then leaping to seem only like small dogs, then moving on to eat a navy ships hull. All the while being bombarded in a Venezualen river mouth, wich the dead floating fish seem to be a cut and paste afterthought floating across the screen not even minding the river or light patterns.
All in all it was a very disappointing watch, oh, did I mention judging from this movie Venezuela is 5 minuites from Florida? Yeah, no..... Stay far away from this DVD as you might get a regressive idiot complex, but then again it could be shown as a comedy. Either way I'll never get my hour odd back.
