I have heard so much hype built up around this movie on last years convention circuit that I just had to ween the myth from the mark-up. I stand before you a humble man because My Bloody Wedding was one that meets the bar. Now if you are looking for a Hollywood blockbuster, keep looking, but if you want a really fun to watch, evenly paced, well shot, independent horror comedy then you have the goods here.
One thing that stood out was the acting, it was slightly silly without being over the top. Each character brought his or her own element into the scenarios and my better half and I at times couldn't help but draw paralells in certain scenes to characters from The Wizard of Oz (watch it and you'll see what I mean).
The shots and composition were excellent, sound was right on mark and the effects wer practical. There is something about almost every time you see Clyde he's getting doused with the red stuff. I highly reccomend this for your collection, it is fun, well crafted and really keeps you interested until the very end...I lookforward to more from Morgan Mead and co. 9/10
