Pathology (2008)
Review by David Rupp

Harvard Medical School graduate Dr. Ted Grey arrives at one of the nations most prestigious Pathology programs and is quickly noticed by the program's privileged and elite band of pathology interns who invite him into their crowd. It is also here, where he is introduced to Dr. Jake Gallo, who brings him to a secluded wing, where he and four other indulge in their after-hours, extra-curricular activities...finding ways to commit the perfect murder!

Directed by: Marc Schoelermann and starring: Milo Ventimiglia, Michael Weston, Alyssa Milano, Lauren Lee Smith, Johnny Whitworth, John de Lanci, Mei Melançon and Keir O'Donnell.

Once again this is one of those movies where I went in blind. My whole night started like, well lets just get this over with. But it turns out I was pleasantly surprised. Pathology is not exactly a horror movie as much as it is a psychological thriller with horriffic implications. There are some great scenes with some top shelf effects, and the acting is really smooth. You actually get a feel for the characters and what is going on, not some over the top storyline but actual people with the actual people mentality. It also has a great duality to it and some surprises that I will save for you to discover yourself.

Even though Pathology didn't make me jump up and down or piss myself with glee, it was a nicely done enjoyable watch. If you are an adreleline horror junkie you might want to sit this one out, it is more cerebral and some may find it boring but anyone in a medical field will love it. 8/10
