Psycho Cop 2 (1993)
Review by Jeff

Directed by: Adam Rifkin

Starring:
Robert R. Shafer/Officer Joe Vickers
Rod Sweitzer/Larry
Miles Dougal/Brian
Barbara Niven/Sharon

Plot:
A group of office workers decide to have a party in the office building. Among other things, they want to have some drugs there. Their conversation on the subject is overheard by Joe Vickers, which is rather unfortunate for them, since Joe Vickers is a policeman. Even more unfortunate is the fact that Vickers is also an undead psychotic satanist, and instead of arresting them, he will make sure that nobody leaves the party alive.

Acting:
The acting in this movie was cheesy and real funny, Robert Shafer(Officer Vickers) was back with some more one liners and his great laugh, Rod Sweitzer(Larry) was great as the smart ass party guy, his acting was a bit over the top at times but it was funny, and Miles Dougal(Brain) was a great nerd and sidekick to his buddy Larry.

Gore:
I was pretty let down here because some of the death scenes were cut but what we do get is some off screen kills, a guy pushed down a elevator shaft, a girl thrown off a building, some gunshots, a axe to the stomach, and a axe to the back.

T & A:
There are strippers so we get 2 pairs of boobs, and the ladies get a dudes butt shot.

Directing:
Adam made this sequel even more cheesy than the first, but it was good made it more fun to watch, we get some ok camera shots but the bad scene cuts I think hurt the film some.

Soundtrack:
We get some rock music and a real nice hokey score that fit the movie well.

Final thoughts:
I thought Psycho Cop 2 was a fun b movie to watch, something you would catch on usa up all night back in the early 90’s, the acting was good and funny, the gore when you did see it was nice, oh and you cant go wrong with Officer Vickers this guy is great. I give this film a 7/10.
