Revamped (2007)
Review by Jeff Hudson

Directed by: Jeff Rector
Starring:
Jeff Rector/Richard
Martin Kove/Reeger
Tane McClure/Lilith
Billy Drago/Vladimus
Plot:
Richard Clarke, a wealthy businessman, is bitten by a beautiful vampire and plunged into the dark world of the supernatural. Richard quickly realizes that being undead isn't all that it's cracked up to be and must fight for survival when a militaristic team of Vampire Hunters discover his existence. Barely surviving, Richard's presence is brought to the attention of a savage underground gang of Vampires bent on survival at all costs. In this war for survival no one is taking any prisoners.
Acting:
The acting in this movie was mega bad, Jeff Rector(Richard) was horrible and tried to funny a lot but failed in so many ways, martin Kove(Reeger) was ok but not used a lot and looked really out of place in this flick, Billy Drago(Vladimus) was good but once again wasn’t really used a lot and should have been.
Gore:
The gore was ok for a vampire flick, we get a snapped neck, biting, gunshots, off screen stuff, a slit throat, a ripped out heart, a vampire exploded, and some stakes to the heart.
T & A:
We don’t get shit, this is a vampire movie with lots of actresses that normally show there boobs and we don’t get a thing.
Directing:
Jeff’s directing is about as good as his acting this looked like is ws shot for the sci-fi channel and was just all over the place.
Soundtrack:
The score was ok but I was to distracted by the shittyness of this movie.
Final thoughts:
Revamped was a very lame attempt at a vampire movie, the comedy in this was so bad and didn’t work at all, and like a lot of independent horror flicks that come out now there is a lot of cameos that didn’t need to be there and they could have spent that money to make the flick look better. I would say stay far away for this piece of crap movie. I give it a 2/10.
