Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984)
Review by Jeff

Directed by: Charles E. Sellier Jr.

Starring:
Robert Brian Wilson/Billy
Lilyan Chauvin/Mother Superior
Gilmert McCormick/Sister Margaret
Linnea Quigley/Denise

Plot:
A young boy watches his parents killed by a thief in a Santa suit. He spends his youth in an orphanage, staying quietly to his self, but his mind is further bent by an ironhanded Mother Superior. He finally gets a job at a local store, where he finally snaps when he is required to wear a Santa suit, and goes on a killing spree that leads him slowly back to the orphanage.

Acting:
Robert Brian (Billy) was great, he looked as crazy as a killer santa could and had some great facial expressions. the rest of the cast was great too but they were just fillers to be killed, I wanted to see that bitch mother superior get killed so bad.

Gore:
Ho ho ho santa gave us some goodies here, we get gun shots, stabbing, a slit throat, someone strangled by x-mas lights, a box cutter to the stomach ouch!!!!, a hammer to the head, arrow to the stomach, dear horns to the stomach, a dude thrown out a window, a cut off head, and a axe to the stomach.

T & A:
naughty naughty we get 4 pairs of cha cha's.

Directing:
There were some great shots here that took me by surprise, also the flashbacks were nice.

Soundtrack:
We get some shitty x-mas music and that's about it.

Final thoughts:
This flick is badass I loved it. Billy was great with his "naughty" tagline. This is a must watch for any fan of slashers movies or just horror movies in general, and don't forget to watch it with your family on x-mas night. I give it a 9/10.
