Silent Rage (1982)
Review by Jeff Hudson

Directed by: Michael Miller

Starring:
Chuck Norris/Dan Stevens
Ron Silver /Tom
Toni Kalem/Alison
Brian Libby/John Kirby

Plot:
In the hospital of a small town, three doctors experiment on a killer John Kirby. As a result, John becomes a maniacal murderer with the ability to heal automatically every time he gets injured, no matter how bad it is. When he starts killing everyone he crosses, the town's sheriff goes after him; but how can he stop someone who can't die, or even get hurt?

Acting:
The acting in this film was ok for the most part, Chuck Norris(Dan) was real cheesy and didn’t give a lot to being a badass sheriff, Toni Kalem(Alison) was ok as the led girl but again did add a lot to the movie, Brian Libby(John Kirby) was pretty good as the killer he looked crazy as hell and was pretty believable.

Gore:
The gore was pretty nice looking, nothing over the top but we get a axe to the head, off screen kills, gunshots, a head smashed against the wall, a needle to the neck, a snapped neck, guy falling from a building, guy hit by a truck, and tons of Chuck Norris kicking people in the face.

T & A:
We get about 4 pairs of boobs here.

Directing:
Michael did a alright job here, he gives us some cool first person camera shots, but the film looked very old like it was made in the 70’s.

Soundtrack:
We get a very annoying score that was way to repetitive and just got on my nerves the whole time.

Final thoughts:
This was my first time sitting through a Chuck Norris flick and now I see that I am not missing much, it was pretty cheesy and the plot was simple but ok. The death scenes were pretty cool, and the killer fit well with the movie, but other than that it was just a average movie at the best. If you’re a die hard Norris fan you might like this otherwise I would say just give it a rent. I give it a 4/10.
