Street Trash (1987)
Review by Jeff Hudson

Directed by: J. Michael Muro

Starring:
Mark Sferrazza/Kevin
Jane Arakawa/Wendy
Vic Noto/Bronson
Bill Chepil/Cop

Plot:
When a liquor store owner finds a case of Viper in his cellar, he decides to sell it to the local hobos at one dollar a bottle, unaware of its true properties. The drinks causes its consumers to melt, very messily. Two homeless lads find themselves up against the effects of the toxic brew, as well as going head to head with Bronson a Vietnam vet with sociopath tendencies, and the owner of the junkyard they live in.

Acting:
The acting in this movie was pretty good in the over the top way, Mark Sferrazza(Kevin) is pretty likeable and good in the lead role, Vic Noto(Bronson) is crazy as fuck and the dude does a good job at playing a real asshole, Bill Chepil(The Cop) was funny and acted real cheesy.

Gore:
The gore was real good here and we get some real sick looking stuff, we get some off screen stuff, bums melting, a dick ripped off, a knife to the back, strangling, a guy exploded, a knife to the neck, and a head blown off.

T & A:
There’s lots for everyone here, we get 4 pairs of boobs, 2 bush shots, and one penis.

Directing:
Muro did a nice job making this flick look gritty and realistic, we get some cool shots, and the setting was real nice.

Soundtrack:
We get a real hokey score most of the time then at other times its real good and serious.

Final thoughts:
Street Trash I would say is for a select group of people, if you are fans of older Troma movies and like gross nasty effects you will love this. It is loaded with gore, nudity, and offensive stuff, but it does it in a more light hearted way that you cant take seriously. Like I said before if you like older Troma flicks this is rite up your alley. I give it a 6/10.
