The Sky Has Fallen (2009)
Review by Jeff Hudson

Directed by: Doug Roos

Starring:
Laurel Kemper/Rachel
Carey MacLaren/Lance

Plot:
In a post-apocalyptic world, a new disease wipes out almost all of mankind within a couple of hours. Trying to avoid infection, people flee to remote locations, but they start seeing mysterious black figures, carrying away the dead and experimenting on them. Now, Lance and Rachel, two survivors determined to fight back, must kill the leader of these creatures before the rest of humanity disappears.

Acting:
The acting in this movie was very weak, the dialogue between Lance and Rachel was horrible it seemed like they were reading strait from a book. Laurel Kemper(Rachel) and Carey MacLaren(Lance) were horrible and I did not find them believable at all.

Gore:
Like most zombie movies we get some off screen stuff, lots of gunshots, and are hero Lance shows us lots of sword action.

T & A:
This movie is way to epic to use some of that stuff.

Directing:
Doug made this feel and look like almost every other zombie flick out there, how many times have I said that line before? So he could have did a lot better job.

Soundtrack:
The score used in this movie seemed really sad and bleak, makes you feel the dread that is going on here.

Final thoughts:
Once again another post apocalyptic zombie flick that is very shitty. The 2000’s is for zombie movies what the 1980’s was for slasher films, the only difference is these zombie movies suck total ass. I wont try and be to harsh here so it has a well done score, and if you enjoy horrible strait to DVD movies that aren’t meant to be bad you must go out and rent this one. I give it a 1/10.
