The Slaughter (2006)
Review by Jeff

Directed by: Jay Lee
Starring:
Jessica Custodio/Dana
Zak Kilberg/Iggys
Terry Erioski/Tyler
Billy Beck/Razz
Plot:
A turn of the century ritual to raise the feminine evil goes horribly wrong and leaves a she demon dormant on the ceremonial grounds. Sixty years later a young couple moves into a house built on the ancient grounds and their daughter's murder leaves the house abandoned for yet another forty years. Now, six college students are hired to clean up the house for a real estate mogul who plans to sell it for a large profit. They unwittingly awake the demon and only the ultimate sacrifice can save the world from a future of unspeakable evil.
Acting:
The acting in this movie is horrible, Jessica Custodio(Dana) starts off playing a quiet girl but the last 20 minutes she turns into a horrible one line joke cracking annoying bitch that you just want to shut the fuck up, the rest of cast is just as bad other than Billy Beck(Razz) he was kind of funny as the stoner but still gets on your nerves.
Gore:
The gore wasn’t bad when it came to the make up effects but the digital stuff was awful, we get some stabbing, a girl impaled in a not so fun spot, a nasty leg break, puked up guts, a face ripped off, a girl drowned, a guy on fire, slit throat, head chopped off, a machete to the head, some flesh eating, and a head ripped off.
T & A:
Lots of that here we get 4 pairs I think in the human and demon form.
Directing:
Jay did a very shitastic job on this movie from everything from the script, to the awful color of the flick, bad cuts, scenes that made no sense, horrible cgi, and the humor sucked major ass.
Soundtrack:
We get some metal music and if there was a score I don’t remember because I was so annoyed by the people in this movie.
Final thoughts:
It brings me such joy to sit through another direct to DVD horror film that just sucks ass. Well lets start with the negatives, bad look to the movie, shit acting, horrible script, scenes that make no fucking sense, ripping of a scene from Return Of The Living Dead, the use of the word Romero, and cant forget the wonderful cgi. Now the positives….. Save yourself the time and don’t even look at the case for this movie, just keep walking away from it. I give it a 1/10.
