The Thirst
Review by Jeff

Directed by: Jeremy Kasten

Starring:
Clare Kramer/Lisa
Matt Keeslar/Maxx
Jeremy Sisto/Darius
Adam Baldwin/Lenny

Plot:
Maxx (Matt Keeslar) and his girlfriend Lisa (Clare Kramer) are a pair of recovering drug addicts whom are recruited by a clan of sex & violence crazed vampires led by the egotistical and charismatic Darius (Jeremy Sisto). But to become members, Maxx and Lisa have to give up their humanity and become vampires themselves. As Maxx and Lisa adopt to their new lifestyle of immortality with all the advantages and disadvantages, their addiction to drugs now turns to addiction to human blood and each new 'fix' leads them deeper into debauchery. Will these two rookie vampires find salvation, or be damned to all eternity of their latest thirst for blood?

Acting:
The acting in this film was ok Matt Keeslar(Maxx) was ok, Jeremy Sisto(Darius) was ok but it was odd to see him trying to play a badass, Clare Kramer(Lisa) I thought was real boring to watch, and Adam Baldwin(Lenny) was great with role but we don’t get much of him.

Gore:
There is tons of blood spraying here, we get lots of biting, a rock to the head, axe to the body, nail gun action, burnt up vampires, and some other stuff.

T & A:
There are lots of goodies here, we get 7 pairs of boobs and a guys butt for the ladies.

Directing:
Jeremy did good at times but at other times during the film it seemed off, I thought his style of the film was good, but I didn’t care for the times where he sped things up.

Soundtrack:
We get some meta/rock music, and the score was ok.

Final thoughts:
I thought this film started off real good but as it went on I felt the film went downhill. It seemed to much like a rip off of a great movie called Near Dark, and I didn’t like the ending at all. I give this film a 4/10.
