First off, if you haven't caught this groundbreaking zombie saga you will be plesantly surprised. Don't expect the worn out genre staple that has become the most over-done project for anyone with a flip cam. You will be presented with characters you can really get behind (love or hate), scenarios and situations that echo with real humanity and decisions that tear you in many directions. Love, hope, betrayal, bonding and survival.
Anchor Bay yeally did a nice job putting this together. you get a sweet package of extras such as The Making Of, behind the scenes, sneak peeks and convention panels. Pair that with extra footage like Zombie School, inside Dales RV, hanging with Steven Yeun and more and you get hours of cool shit to keep your videophile head fed.
The Blu-ray looks phenomenal, and really brings the scenes to life so to speak. I really think if you're tired of the run of the mill zombie story that you get this series. I myself look forward to season 2. 10/10
