Okay I am going to be honest, I kind of enjoy watching the quirky SyFy/Chiller styled made for cable tv movies about natural disaster, but as far as going out and hunting this down to watch it just doesn't seem logical. The acting is actually quite good, the effects and plot are in order, it just lacks a stand out performance in general.

One can appreciate the environmental messages attached but in general the danger and action put forth seemed forced. If you see this on an on demand service (netflix, blockbuster) on on a cable chanel late at night go on and give it a watch, but otherwise this is a movie that will not win friends as a birthday gift. 4/10
