Trackman (2008)
Review by David Rupp

A perfect bank heist turns deadly when the robbers and their hostages flee to the abandoned underground subway station where they encounter the Trackman, a deformed madman that prowls the darkness.

Directed by: Igor Shavlak Starring: Dmitri Orlov, Svetlana Metkina, Aleksandr Vysokovsky, Yuliya Mikhailova

I want to start off by saying this is yet another dubbed film, Russian with English over dubs. But it was far more effective than Room 205, some of the voiceovers almost added to the characters. Igor did a very good job on this movie, from casting to sets, writing to lighting, this movie delivers. I have trouble believing I have heard this was the weakest in the Ghost House Underground label, obviously they haven't seen the movie that must remain nameless (see review for Room 205).

The story is well done with some nice twists, and an villain that does not disappoint. The gore and effects are great and frequent, with some jump scares and a pick axe that hasn't been used this well since My Bloody Valentine. Even though dubbed the delivery of the actors is competent and strong, effective. I have to reccomend this movie, it's a journey to say the least in this day of sterile genre films. 7/10
