Wiseguys VS. Zombies
Review by Jeff
Directed by: Adam Minarovich
Starring:
Adam Minarovich/August Mirabella
William Palko/Freddy Six Times
Stewart Adamo/Mr. Delborne
Catherine Brissey/Sadie
Plot:
Freddy Six Times and August Mirabella are two of New York's most feared hitmen, delivering a package to Miami. But the package contains a deadly secret. After inadvertently releasing a plague in the form of the walking dead, the hitmen must rely on their wit and their new cache of firepower to defeat the nemesis, and complete the delivery before the Mob and the Cuban Mafia target them for death.
Acting:
The acting for the most part in this movie is pretty bad but Adam Minarovich(Mirabella) was pretty funny as the badass hitman guy, he had a lot of funny lines throughout the film that made this movie watchable, William Palko(Freddy Six Times) didn’t say much in the film and that’s a good thing cause when he talked it wasn’t good.
Gore:
The gore is ok here for a low budget zombie flick, we get lots of gunshots, biting, a head blown up, some chainsaw action, and guts ripped out.
T & A:
Not a thing here.
Directing:
Adam did what he did with the budget he had, the make up effects for the zombies were horrible, I wouldn’t say there is much that was great to talk about camera wise, and it was mostly shot outdoors during the day so yea not a lot to say about his directing.
Soundtrack:
We get a southern style score and some rock music throughout the film.
Final thoughts:
I would say Adam had a good funny idea going here but the zombie make up effects and the lack of budget held this film down big time, but its one of those movie where you can get some friends together and get some beers and have a good time watching this. I give it a 6/10.
