Witchboard 2
Review by Jeff

Directed by: Kevin Tenney

Starring:
Ami Dolenz/Paige
Timothy Gibbs/Mitch
John Gatins/Russel
Julie Michaels/Susan

Plot:
A beautiful young woman starts receiving messages through a Ouija board, claiming to be from the former occupant of her apartment. The former tenant claims she's been murdered, but there's no record of a murder or even her death.

Acting:
The acting in this film was pretty good, Ami Dolenz(Paige) plays the good girl from a small county town, and get possessed and starts to live on the edge, Timothy Gibbs(Mitch) plays the tough cop role real well and towards the end of the movie you really start to like his character, John gatins(Russel) plays the quiet photographer who acts like he is trying to hide something throughout the film.

Gore:
We don’t get a lot of blood at all, most kills are off screen but we do get a pick ax to the stomach, and even that doesn’t show much so I was a little let down by the lack of kills and gore.

T & A:
Not a thing here, just Ami giving us a little tease.

Directing:
Kevin did a nice job making this film feel realistic, and the way he lets you get to know the characters is real well done so you care about what happens to them next, he also had some cool camera shots from the point of view of the spirit.

Soundtrack:
We get a cool spooky score, the score’s in his films are always real well done.

Final thoughts:
Witchboard 2 is a real fun and well made movie, I would say I like part 2 even more than part, the characters are solid, we get a great score, and a real good ending. I would say to give this movie a watch and you don’t need see the first one to know what is going on here. I give it a 7/10.
